August for me was a challenging one. A plaster cast on your leg during record breaking heat is not a pleasant thing, as any of you that have suffered it will know. The feeling of having it removed was one of joy.<\/p>\n

My chosen video features David Gray.\u00a0 This Year’s Love appeared on his breakthrough album White Ladder, which despite many people assuming it was his debut was actually his 4th.\u00a0 Featuring the hits Babylon, Please Forgive Me, a cover of Soft Cell’s Say Hello, Wave Goodbye, and this single, This Year’s Love which got to number 20 in 1999.\u00a0 The parent album went to number one and spent over 3 consecutive years in the charts, and is currently the 26th best selling album of all time.<\/p>\n
