Happy Birthday Sooty!

\nThe sooty show, and yesterday sooty celebrated his 65th birthday
\nhe first hit our TV screens in 1948 and was founded by Harry Corbett in\u00a0Blackpool.
\nHe currently\u00a0holds the Guinness World Record for the longest running children’s television show.
\nSooty along with his friends Soo and Sweep have had huge success on TV since the first\u00a0Sooty Show<\/i>\u00a0in 1955 through until more recent series such as\u00a0Sooty & Co\u00a0and\u00a0Sooty\u00a0Heights\u00a0on CITV.<\/p>\n

\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Legions of One Direction fans have queued to get up close and personal with\u00a0their favourite boy band in New York .\u00a0Only Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry and Louis weren’t able to attend in person – the\u00a0event was arranged to reveal their waxwork likenesses.<\/p>\n

The launch was meant to take place in Times Square – but high temperatures meant it had to take place inside their new home at Madame Tussauds.
\nWell if you want one of your own models of the boys then you\u2019ll be happy to know that The first One Direction pop up store has opened in Scotland .<\/p>\n

It’s been set up in Glasgow ‘s Silverburn Centre. The shop will be there for the next couple of weeks.<\/p>\n
